Gurfathe Kooner is wanted by Windsor Police and Essex OPP for a variety of charges involving firearms.
The ROPE Squad is asking for the publics help in finding a federal offender.
31 year old Gurfathe Kooner is at unlawfully large on a three year sentence for a variety of offences involving firearms.
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition.
- Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized.
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order.
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited device or ammunition.
Kooner is wanted by Windsor Police for the following charges:
- Surety removal.
- Fraud over $5,000 (three counts).
- Breach of recognizance (two counts).
- Uttering death threats.
- Failing to attend court.
He is also wanted by Essex OPP for the following:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm.
- Breach of the firearms regulations.
- Possessing a firearm with the serial number removed.
- Possession of a firearm contrary to order (two counts).
Kooner is described as Middle Eastern standing at 6'3" and weighing 241 pounds. He has a shaved head and is described having a dark coloured goatee that could be shaven clean. He also has numerous tattoos; a tiger on his right forearm, tribal tattoos on both forearms, barbed wire on his right wrist and the world "Punjabi" on the right side of his neck.
He has been at large since April 2016 and he is known to frequent to Windsor and the Greater Toronto Area.
