A community within a community. That's what the builders of the Sally Creek development are hoping to build. Last week, they opened a brand new community centre for the residents of the subdivision. But there are bigger plans in the works, according to Development President Cliff Zaluski. "We do have a good size of commercial block at the corner of Lakeview and 59. We also have another site here for a retirement home next to that and we also have a site for an apartment building, like a seniors apartment building next to that." One of the two home builders in Sally Creek, Boaz Feiner with Geranium Homes expects the development will continue for a number of years. "Our first phase is 54 units but we will be here with Sierra's help. We will be here for a long, long time. We'll build here hopefully a few hundred units over time." The home builders are expecting an increase in sales with the opening of the new community centre. A pool and fitness centre are the next phases to be added.
