The Tavistock Braves are set to take on the Glanbrook Rangers in the Schmalz Cup quarter-finals. The First game is this Wednesday night in Tavistock.
TAVISTOCK - The Tavistock Braves took a 3-2 victory making them the top team in their division and. This is the first time in 10 years that the team has won the championships, after beating Ayr in 7 games.
General Manager, Jordan Zehr, shares the boys excitement.
"Everyone's very happy. It was a hard fought battle, especially yesterday's, so to come out on top I think the boys were pretty excited."
Zehr also adds that there is a lot of qualities that make the team special.
"There's a lot of things special about this team. The way we started camp back in August, the attitude that everyone came in with, we just bought in right out of the gate and every guy has a role and they have to fill it and its been working."
