Norfolk OPP say the damage estimate is approximately $10,000 after suspects broke into St Bernard of Clairvaux School in Waterford on August 31st.
WATERFORD - Norfolk OPP are investigating after suspects broke into St Bernard of Clairvaux School in Waterford and vandalized the inside.
Officers say the break in happened in the early morning hours of Thursday August 31st; sometime between 1:08am and 1:53am to be exact.
The suspects forcibly gained access to the Washington Street building by damaging the front and side glass doors.
Once they got in they damaged desks, book shelves, trophies and electronics. They even tried to rip a sink off the wall of one of the bathrooms which then flooded a portion of the school. Suspects also vandalised the principal's office, staff room and kitchen.
OPP say the damage estimate is valued at approximately $10,000 and they are still waiting on video surveillance to catch the culprits.
