The SIU has invoked their mandate after a Tillsonburg man was arrested for impaired driving in Port Rowan.
TILLSONBURG - The Special Investigations Unit is investigating after a Tillsonburg man was arrested for drinking and driving and Port Rowan.
Norfolk OPP arrested the 24 year old man last month. Today they issued a release saying the SIU has invoked their mandate and they will not be providing anymore information on the case.
The SIU invokes their mandate whenever there is a circumstance involving police and civilians that has resulted in serious injury, death or allegations of sexual assault.
