Locals with physical and intellectual disabilities have a new place to develop their basic communication and life skills. It's called the Snoezelen Room and it's located at the Fusion Youth Activity and Technology Centre in Ingersoll. Manager Jason Smith says the room is open to the public as well as school groups. The room includes bubble columns, illuminated cloud ceiling, therapy chair, hanging leaf chair, fiber optic lights, curtains and waterfalls. The equipment was purchased through a 62 thousand dollar Government Accessibility Fund which also provided a new accessible washroom for the Youth Centre.
