Environment Canada says we'll see 15 cm of snowfall today, becoming heavy at times, before seeing a mix of rain and wet flurries in the afternoon.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Oxford County today.
We're expecting to see 15 centimetres of heavy snow beginning this morning and continuing into the afternoon.
Strong winds will create blowing snow throughout most of this morning, causing low visibility at times.
Woodstock and Tillsonburg, along with Brant County, will be among the areas affected.
The snow will then taper off into a mixture of rain and wet flurries this afternoon as the temperatures begin to rise above 0.
Environment Canada adds the accumulation of snow will make travelling difficult and the visibility may be reduced at times.
They say to take breaks frequently and avoid strain while clearing snow.
