Southwestern Public Health is reporting one new COVID-19 related death today. It was a man in his 80s from St. Thomas.
SWPH - Another COVID-19 related death has been reported in the Southwestern Public Health Region.
The latest death was a man in his 80s from St. Thomas.
The local health unit has reported a total of 165 COVID-19 related deaths since the pandemic began.
It also reported 72 new cases of the virus today, bringing the total number of active cases to 258. Please note this doesn't include rapid test results.
Six people are currently being treated for the COVID in local hospitals and one of them is in the ICU.
