A 24 year old man from Staffordville has been charged with assault, mischief and impaired driving after a disturbance in Downtown Tillsonburg.
TILLSONBURG - A 24 year old man from Staffordville has been charged after a disturbance in Downtown Tillsonburg.
Police were called to Broadway Street on Thursday evening about two people involved in what was described as a disturbance. They left the area in a vehicle before police arrived.
Officers eventually pulled over the two men and the determined the driver was impaired. Anthony Wall was arrested at the scene and is facing the following charges:
- Assault
- Mischief
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.
