The Woodstock Museum will be displaying stamps from the The Oxford Philatelic Society until July 23rd.
WOODSTOCK - The Oxford Philatelic Society has some of their best stamps on display at the Woodstock Museum.
Their exhibit opened up on April 30th and will run until July 23rd. Past President of the club John Hunt tells Heart FM each stamp tells a story.
"If your curious you can come out and see for yourself what to do with stamps, we have already had people like that have collections, I talked to one lady on Saturday when we first opened to the public and she was just amazed to see what you can do with stamps, other than just put them in a book."
Hunt says they have a number of rare stamps that will be on display featuring things like extinct birds, prime ministers and aboriginal culture.
"One of our members, one of her favourite topics is the Queens different hats because in her 60 plus years on the throne they estimate she has worn over 8,000 hats, myself I worked in the tire industry for 34 years, so I have done wheels used in transportation."
