Woodstock Spider-Man will be hosting his annual Birthday Bash in Woodstock's downtown core this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - You'll be able to spot lots of superheroes in Woodstock's downtown core during Streetfest this year.
Woodstock Spider-Man will be holding his annual Birthday Bash between Beale Street and Victoria Street this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
There will cake for 300 people and lots of children's activities; including face painting, balloon animals and a petting zoo.
Woodstock's favourite hero has also invited some of his fellow Spider-Men to stop by.
"I do have a friend of mine from Quebec who's coming in and a couple others from outside of Woodstock like Toronto, London and Hamilton. We have guys coming from all over the place to come to this!"
The celebration will also include an appearance by Richard Comeley; one of the creators of the Captain Canuck comic book series.
Woodstock Spider-Man has been holding this event for a couple of years now and he would like to see it continue to grow.
"Hopefully it's going to expand into an even bigger thing next year! Kind of like Canada's biggest open free comic-con birthday bash! It would be really cool."
If you're planning on stopping by this Saturday you should bring a donation for the local food bank.
