NGERSOLL - Oxford OPP and EMS were called to a home in Ingersoll this morning about a man in medical distress.
When first responders arrived on the scene at 4:40 am they determined the 52 year old man was likely suffering from an ovderdose. He was subsequently transported to a local area hospital to be treated by attending physicians.
Overdose deaths continue to rise across Ontario. Most drug-related deaths result from the use of multiple illicit drugs at one time. Police want to remind people that mixing illicit drugs is dangerous, and sometimes lethal, without warning.
