Bernia Martin and Grant Jones will stay on as Chair and Vice Chair.
OXFORD, ELGIN, MIDDLESEX - A City-County Councillor for Woodstock will continue to serve as the Chair of the Southwestern Public Health (SWPH) Board.
According to Chief Executive Officer Cynthia St. John, Bernia Martin was re-elected to the position during the first board meeting of 2025.
"Bernia has been a strong advocate for local public health initiatives over the past year and continues to advance our organization’s work. She encourages leaders at the board and staff level to be strategic and innovative when delivering our programs and services."
Elgin County Warden Grant Jones was also re-elected as the Vice Chair.
They were first appointed to the positions last year and Martin also served as the Vice Chair in 2023.
