Three 16 year old teens were injured, one seriously after a single vehicle crash on Saturday night on Windham Road 12.
WINDHAM - Three teenagers were injured after a single vehicle crash on Saturday night on Windham Road 12 in Norfolk County.
The 16 year old driver, along with the two 16 year old passengers had to be extricated from the vehicle after they went into the ditch and hit a hydro pole. The driver and one of the passengers suffered minor injuries. One of the passengers was taken to a local area hospital and then transferred to Hamilton to be treated for serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Windham Road 12 was closed between Windham East Quarter Line Road and Nixon Road for approximately 6 hours while police continued to investigate.
Speed is being considered as a contributing factor.
The investigation is continuing.
