This Sunday, the Lions will be hosting a full breakfast at the Thamesford Recreation Centre.
THAMESFORD - The Lions are hosting an Easter Breakfast.
To help fundraise they will be hosting a full breakfast including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, toast, hash browns, drinks, and fruit.
Thamesford Lions Membership Chair Rebecca Haggerty says this is the first time the Lions will be hosting this event.
“It's a beautiful community, eat-in-style event so that we can have the community come together.”
On top of the meal, there will be kids' activities, coloring pages, and little prizes to take home.
All the money fundraised will go back into the community, according to Haggerty.
“We support projects like playgrounds, gardens, environmental projects, medical equipment loans, and help for families in need.”
The event is taking place this Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Thamesford Recreation Centre.
Tickets can be purchased at the door and will be $10 for adults, $5 for children, and free for kids aged 3 and under.
