The GenNext committee is for the youth in their 20's to 30's. They are hosting their first event: Pop Up Giving, on November 30th at the Upper Thames Brewery between 7:30- 9:30.
For all new donors who donate over $1200 annually the Leadership challenge grant, will match every donation made.
Kelly Gilson explains how Work place campains are a great way to bring coworkers together to make a difference in the community....
"About 65% of our annual campaign comes through pay roll donations. Its a significant amount and is the easiest way for people to give because its just off your paycheck every other week and we make it painless for you."
Gilson also explains Giving Tuesday...
"Giving Tuesday is sort of the counter to black Friday and cyber Monday. It's intended to inspire people to give, to volunteer and contribute to their communities and societies."
It's never too late to get involved and all proceeds go back to the Oxford community.
