An 18 year old and a 19 year old from Woodstock and a 21 year old man from London have been arrested in relation a home invasion in Woodstock last month. A search warrant on their homes resulted in additional charges for all three.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have arrested three men in relation to a home invasion last month.
The home invasion happened on February 1st, just after midnight in the north end of the City. Suspects were identified and later arrested by the London police Emergency Response Unit on February 12th.
The arrests allowed police to execute three search warrants at different homes, one in London and two in Woodstock, which have resulted in additional charges.
Three males have been charged with numerous offences.
18 year old Liam Ede of Woodstock is facing the following charges:
- Break and Enter
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Forcible Confinement
19 year old Dylan Demelo of Woodstock was arrested and is facing the following charges:
- Break and Enter
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Forcible Confinement
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.00
21 year old Jordan Hilliker of London was also arrested and facing the following charges:
- Break and Enter
- Disguise with Intent
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Robbery with a Firearm
- Forcible Confinement
- Pointing a Firearm
- Fail to Comply with Court Order
- Possession of Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.00
Two of the men were also charged in relation to a Break and Enter on Victoria Street in Woodstock on December 27th of last year. At this time, suspects entered the residence and stole several firearms and ammunition.
Both Dylan Demelo and Jordan Hilliker have been charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000.00.
