Residents of Norwich Township are invited to have their say at Town Hall in Springford.
SPRINGFORD - Norwich Township is hosting a Town Hall for their residents at the Springford Hall.
Things get started at 7 pm tomorrow night. Mayor Larry Martin says having Town Hall meetings was actually one of his campaign promises.
"A lot of times I have noticed that some of the problems we have is through misinformation or misunderstanding and I thought if we go out to the people ourselves personally, first off to hear what concerns they have and to address any issues and try to correct any misinformation that is out there, so that at least the information they do have is correct and proper.
Martin says the Town Hall is a chance to ask questions and address any concerns you have right now in Norwich Township. Martin says this is the first term they have had Town Hall meetings and they do three a year. He says the response from the public has been great.
"It ranges depending on the individual, depending on the area we are in. I know the last meeting we had the big concern was about the series of break ins we had in Norwich. Roads is another concern people have, taxes is always a concern people have. We try to address the issues that they have, we found that if we can answer their questions, maybe they won't get the answers they want but at least they will get an answer."
