The Town of Ingersoll has agreed to waive the interest on property tax arrears from April to August, to help provide some relief for residents during the pandemic.
INGERSOLL - With the decision to waive interest on property tax arrears from April to August, Ingersoll will lose $70,000 in income.
People who pay by pre-authorized banking can stop payment if they have been impacted by the virus. The no interest policy applies to industrial, commercial and residential taxpayers.
