SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - The Brownsville Firefighters Association is about to host its annual pig roast.
The event will be taking place on August 15th at the Brownsville Community Hall. Whether you're a longtime resident or new to the community, everyone is welcome to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting your local volunteer firefighters. Acting Captain of the Brownsville Fire Hall John Milton shares some background on the event.
"So, our pig roast has been a Brownsville tradition for over 20 years now. It's a chance for everyone to come out and enjoy a great meal and spend some time together with local firefighters."
Milton adds its easy to get tickets for this event.
"We do have tickets available right now. You can get them either at the fire hall or through our Facebook page, but we will also have tickets at the door as well."
Tickets will cost $25 for adults, $10 for children, while kids 5 and under are free. Your support helps the Brownsville Firefighters Association continue serving our community.
