Traffic was backed up on the 401 this morning after a tractor trailer went into the ditch.
OPP were at the scene at 7 a.m. today after a tractor trailer veered off the road and into the ditch while it was exiting the ramp. Police had the ramp closed for about 5 hours this morning to assist with the removal of the tractor trailer. Woodstock City Fire department and the Oxford County EMS were also at the scene, however nobody was injured. We will provide you with more information as soon as it becomes available.
The 54 year old driver of the transport was charged with careless driving.
