INGERSOLL - Alexandra Hospital is hosting their Tree of Lights Ceremony.
A free family fun night out with carolling, prize draws, a visit from Santa and the main attraction the lighting of the Christmas trees.
Executive Director, Robin Schultz...
"We have two trees we light up. One is 'in memory of' and 'in honour of' lights, for those who have passed away. The bulbs are $10 and the other tree is the Canon Griffon Memorial Tree and their $50 a bulb and its all 'In memory of' lights."
All the money raised will go towards getting new hospital equipment.
Schultz also expresses how much this time of year means to people who have lost loved ones....
" I think everyone has a special place in their heart this time of year where they reflect back on their year and think of those you lost in the past few years and you think of how you can memorialize that person and do good."
Make sure to dress warm because the festive night will be held on Sunday November, 12th at 6:30PM.
