The Oxford OPP arrested and charged two people from London after responding to a suspicious vehicle report in SWOX.
SWOX - Two people from London have been arrested and charged in South-West Oxford Township.
The Oxford OPP responded to a suspicious vehicle report on Lisas Drive at around 3:00 a.m. on Monday.
Officers found a damaged and abandoned vehicle once they arrived on the scene. After searching the area, they arrested two people who matched their suspects descriptions and seized drugs, a prohibited device, and stolen property.
Police charged 29-year-old Carl Chambers and 26-year-old Tristan Chambers with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. Tristan was charged with three counts of drug possession, while Carl was charged with one count.
In addition to all of this, Tristan was also charged with possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order, possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, two counts of failure to comply with undertaking, and three counts of failure to comply with probation.
