United Way Burger Battle Begins!

Fourteen local restaurants will go head to head to see who has the Ultimate Burger of 2026.

OXFORD - November has arrived! So another Ultimate Burger Battle is underway for United Way Oxford.

Fourteen restaurants from across the county have created their own unique burger for this month only and $2 from every burger sold will go to United Way.

Resource Development Cooridnator Megan Porter says the best burgers will be honoured at the end of the month.

"We have the Ultimate Burger of the Year voted on by the ambassadors. So each ambassador has their own scoring sheet, they get handed in independently at the end of the month and we aggregate the results."

She adds members of the public can also get involved.

"People in the community can rate the burgers as they're trying them and vote online. By the end of the month we will award three People's Choice winners with first, second and third."

Members of the public can also pickup a burger passport, to make it easier to remember which burgers they have tried.

The restaurant that sells the most burgers by the end of the month will win an award as well.

You can find a list of the participating restaurants and their burgers below. The ambassadors are required to try all of the restaurants with Platnium status.

- Chrissy's Catering (Tillsonburg) - Classic Sweet Onion
- PB's Fries (Ingersoll) - True North Smash Burger

Gold
- Brunny's Sports Bar and Grill (Thamesford) - Southwest Smash Burger
- The Pub at Norwich Ave (Woodstock) - Double Trouble
- Louie's Pizza and Pasta (Ingersoll) - Oxford Maple Bacon Burger
- Boston Pizza (Tillsonburg) - The Regal Burger
