Cheese and Cheers Coming to Woodstock

A partnership between Tempo Restaurant and Cheesy Cow Company will bring a fundraising event to South Gate Centre.

WOODSTOCK - A fundraiser is coming to Woodstock at South Gate Centre.

Cheese & Cheers - A Tapas Experience will take place next Friday. The Cheesy Cow Company is partnering with Tempo Restaurant to host the event. Tempo Restaurant chef Simon Mathias talks about what food people will enjoy.

"We're just looking at some smaller plates. So, we're doing 6 courses, and they'll all feature amazing cheeses you can pick up at Cheesy Cow."

Each course will be accompanied by a carefully selected wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage designed to complement the food and cheese being served. Cheesy Cow Cheesemonger Wes Mazur says what the money will support.

"So specifically, it's for the Southgate Centre's Rotary Community Kitchen. And that kitchen specifically helps feed their older adults first and foremost. Second, it's also a shared space the community can use to cook and share resources."

There will only be 102 tickets sold, and you can buy them in pairs or for a table of 6.
