A recent survey shows Oxford County residents are happy with their neighbourhoods, but not so much with the municipal government.
OXFORD COUNTY - Results from a Wellbeing Survey have been released in Oxford County.
The 2025 Canadian Index of Wellbeing Survey showed 71 percent of residents were satisfied with the neighbourhood they live in. Other results for the neighbourhoods include: 69 percent were satisfied with their environmental quality, 68 percent were happy with the access to parks and recreational opportunities, and 62 percent were satisfied with their own personal relationships.
When it came to local government, there was a 32 percent satisfaction rate when it comes to local government responsiveness. Elsewhere, 33 percent of people were satisfied with how well democracy is working within the community, and 34 percent were happy with access to educational opportunities.
