Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario is looking for two handy individuals to help with the Ingersoll build next week.
INGERSOLL - Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario is in need of some extra hands at their Ingersoll build.
Volunteer Coordinator Kendra Forrest says they're looking for two skilled or handy volunteers to help them all next week, starting on Tuesday.
"So we're looking for somebody that would be comfortable using a concrete nail gun to help install blanket insulation around the home. As well as somebody with basic carpentry skills that would be able to help with baseboard installation and decks."
Forrest says anyone with experience can help out.
"We're looking for somebody who has the basic knowledge of construction tools; using a nail gun, cutting wood to a specific angle. Somebody with experience with installing baseboard or completing a deck would be fantastic."
Those interested in volunteering out can contact Forrest by calling 419-455-6623 with the extension 207. They can also e-mail volunteers@habitat4home.ca.
Forest says house is coming along well at this point, and they're hoping to have it ready for a family to move in September 1st.
The donated bungalow was moved from its former London address to Margaret Street in Ingersoll back in May.
