An artist will be at the Woodstock Art Gallery for a 'Walk and Talk' of her large scale watercolour exhibition.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Art Gallery an event just in time for Mother's Day.
They will have regional artist Joanne Vegso at the gallery on Saturday at 2 p.m. to talk about her exhibition Exploration with Still Life.
Curator of the Gallery Mary Reid says this is a great chance to explore the mind of an artist.
"Well we have a very special event planned, in our community gallery we have a really beautiful exhibition by a regional artist Joanne Vesgo and she is going to be doing what is called a walk and talk, so she will be walking through her exhibition and talking about the various pieces she has on display."
Vegso is currently based in London, but has lived in and around Oxford County in the past.
Vegso will speak about her creative inspirations and painting practice. Reid tells Heart FM they are thrilled to have Vegso stop by.
"In the last number of years she has really been exploring the painting of water colour and I have to say it may sound a little conservative, you know the painting of tulips and flowers and various types of still life objects, but she really is the master of her medium."
The event is free to attend for everyone.
