Briefs include a 50 year old man trying to pull a Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys in EZT, a couple of Good Samaritans who helped take an impaired driver and a dangerous driver off the road and an impaired driver slams into a hydro pole in Norwich.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK - A 50 year old man from East Zorra-Tavistock tried to pull a Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys.
Oxford OPP say the man tried to evade a R.I.D.E program on Sunday morning at 12:30 on Blandford Street. Officers noticed the man, doing a U-turn and tracked him down.
He was arrested at the scene, brought back to the detachment for further testing and charged with impaired driving.

WOODSTOCK - Oxford OPP are thanking the quick actions of a Good Samaritan for helping them take a dangerous driver off the road.
Police say the Good Samaritan called them on Sunday afternoon after he blocked in a car travelling on Highway 2 towards the City of Woodstock. When officers arrived the Good Samaritan had the dangerous driver blocked in. Police charged the 40 year old driver from Tillsonburg with possession of Methamphetamine and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
Inspector Tony Hymers, Detachment Commander with the Oxford OPP says the good Samaritan deserves a lot of credit.
"I would like to thank the Good Samaritan that assisted police in locating the vehicle which allowed officers to take the driver into custody without incident."

TILLSONBURG - A 40 year old man from Norfolk County has been charged with impaired driving in Tillsonburg.
Police were called by a Good Samaritan early Saturday morning about an erratic driver on Broadway Street. They were able to pull the vehicle over and arrest the driver.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.

NORWICH TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP say a 42 year old man from Tillsonburg was drunk when he crashed into a hydro pole on Saturday afternoon in Norwich Township.
The crash happened on Main Street West. Police say the driver lost control of his vehicle, slamming into the hydro pole. Nobody was injured in the crash and the driver was charged with impaired driving.
He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock at a later date.
