OPP are at the scene of a wheel separation from a transport on the 401 East Bound near Ingersoll.
INGERSOLL - Nobody was injured after another case of a wheel off on the 401 in Oxford County.
OPP West Region Sargeant Dave Rektor reported the incident from his periscope account this morning.
"I'm at the 401 between London and Ingersoll with yet another wheel off incident to report, no injuries, that's the good news but once again, wheel separation from a transport truck which has the potential for more disaster."
Rektor says two wheels came off the transport truck and one did cross the highway before coming to a rest on the median. Luckily the wheels did not hit any oncoming traffic. Rektor says this had the potential to be a disaster.
"Fortunately it didn't cross into oncoming traffic and kill somebody like we had happen just before Christmas, not to far from here, about 500 metres in the other direction, this could of killed somebody and again the Ministry of Transportation is on scene and they are investigating."
