Under direction from the Province, all three Woodingford Lodge locations will be closed to all but essential visitors to make sure it is a safe and secure environment for residents.
WOODSTOCK - All three sites of Woodingford Lodge and all long-term care homes in Ontario, under direction from the Province, are closed to all but essential visitors.
This decision is to ensure a safe and secure environment for residents.
The Ministry of Long-Term Care is looking at essential visitors as those who have a resident who is either at the end of life or very ill, or a parent/guardian of an ill child or youth in a live-in treatment setting.
These visitors will continue to be actively screened into these settings. Ministry officials will re-evaluate this measure in the coming weeks to make it is consistent with enhanced public health measures.
