The Woodstock Choralaires are back with their annual Christmas concert this Saturday.
WOODSTOCK - It's a Christmas tradition in the Friendly City.
The Woodstock Choralaires will have their annual Christmas concert at Knox Presbyterian Church this Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
It's called A Cool Yule and will feature old favourites, some old favourites with a twist, jass numbers, spiritual pieces, and a few surprises. Member Heather Jones says they're also excited to have singer, fiddler, and step-dancer Paige Ballagh as the special guest this year.
"For those that have gone to plays at Victoria's Playhouse in Petrolia or the Drayton Entertainment Group, she has been in a number of productions over the past several years. We're really looking forward to having her."
Ballagh will perform some solo pieces during the show and also perform with the Choralaires from time to time.
Tickets cost $30 each, but kids under 12 will get in for free. Member Heather Jones says they're easy to find.
"If you know a Woodstock Choralaire, they may still have tickets. Wilson and Markle Jewellers have some. You can get them at Ticketscene.ca until Friday, and we will have them at the door."
It's a two-hour show and there will be a 15-minute intermission.
