The baby girl was born at 7:15 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces.
WOODSTOCK - The first baby born at Woodstock Hospital in 2025 was a beautiful baby girl.
Ganeev Kaur Bajwa was born at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday January 1st, to first time parents Ramandeep Kaur and Sahildeep Singh Bajwa.
She weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces and her parents say it was a smooth delivery, adding it was a priceless moment for them.
They followed a Sikh tradition in order to choose her name. They opened their holy book, Shri Guru Granth Sahib, to a random page and used the first letter to inspire the name.
The Woodstock Hospital is congratulating the young family, wishing them all the best for the year ahead.
