Police apprehend a 39-year-old wanted on various outstanding warrants, and a wild ride leads to an impaired charge.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have arrested a man wanted on various outstanding warrants.
As the 39-year-old (of no fixed address) was being taken into custody on Wednesday morning he proceeded to spit in the faces of 2 officers.
He is now facing 2 additional charges of Assaulting a Peace Officer.
WOODSTOCK - After a wild ride one Woodstonian is lucky to be alive.
Just before 1 am on Thursday morning police were called to the area of Finch and Heron Avenue.
When they arrived they determined a vehicle had hit a parked car before flipping onto its roof in the middle of the road.
The driver had fled on foot, however police located the 31-year-old Woodstock man. He is now facing one count of operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs), One count of operation while impaired (blood alcohol concentration 80 plus), and One count of Failure to stop after an accident.
His breath sample was over 2 times the legal limit.
