WOODSTOCK - Imagine waking up and finding a stranger sleeping in your car.
This was a reality for a Woodstonian early Saturday morning on Nellis Street. Police were called and a 22 year old Woodstock man was arrested under the Liquor License Act.

Tupper Gardens in Woodstock was broken into this weekend. Police say a number of electronics, clothing and jewellery were taken from residence on Saturday afternoon between 3 and 4:30 pm. The value of the stolen goods is estimated at $5,000.

Woodstock Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Sunday morning. After investigating a 52 year old man was charged with several counts of Assault and one charge of Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The man was arrested pending a bail hearing. Sergeant Don MacKenzie says they want to encourage all assault victims to call police.
"If you are the victim or know someone who is the victim of domestic abuse please contact the police. All reports are thoroughly investigated and there are a large number of supports available in the community to support victims."

Woodstock Police responded to a crash on Norwich Ave on Sunday afternoon. Nobody was injured and one of the drivers was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.

Police also received a report about a break and enter overnight on Saturday on Pebble Beach Ct. The unknown suspects stole a quantity of alcohol from the home.
