Woodstock Police arrested an impaired driver who fell asleep while waiting for a light at an intersection on Norwich Ave; Police are also investigating a couple of B&E's in the Friendly City.
WOODSTOCK - A 35 year old woman from Hamilton was charged with impaired driving after police found her asleep at the wheel on Norwich Ave in Woodstock.
Officers say they found the woman at an intersection on Thursday around 5:00 a.m. She apparently fell asleep while being stopped at a red light. While speaking with the woman, the officer detected signs that she may be impaired by drugs.
She was charged with possession and impaired driving.

WOODSTOCK - A toolbox and several other items were stolen in a break and enter on Dufferin Street in the City of Woodstock.
Police say a garage was broken into in the early morning hours of Thursday.
Meanwhile police are also investigating a break and enter from the weekend in the area of Athlone Avenue. About $7,500 in tools and equipment were stolen from gated construction site overnight on Friday.
Anyone with information on either of these crimes is asked to make contact with the Woodstock Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
