A 51 year old Norwich man has been charged with causing animals to suffer
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have rescued 2 kittens following a tip from a concerned citizen.
Shortly after 11am this morning a pick-up truck was witnessed travelling through a drive-thru of a Norwich Avenue business with a burlap sack moving in the box of the truck and the kittens inside were howling. Police then attended the scene where they took the kittens to a nearby veterinarian clinic. After having elevated temperatures when they arrived the 2 are now in stable condition and a kennel will be keeping the kittens as the investigation continues. As a result a 51 year old man from Norwich as been charged with causing animals to suffer, he will appear in a Woodstock courtroom on October 6th.
