Two people have been charged after Woodstock Police seized $65,000 worth of drugs on Friday.
WOODSTOCK - Charges have been laid in relation to massive drug bust in the Friendly City.
Woodstock Police seized $65,000 worth of drugs on Friday, May 27th. Officers worked with the Community Response Unit (CRU), Canine Unit, and Containment Team and arrested a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old male from Toronto.
An investigation revealed that the suspects were in possession of suspected Fentanyl, Methamphetamine and Cocaine. Both are facing multiple charges. They have both been charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, along with possession of property obtained by crime. Some of the charges include:
Police reported that $65,750 in controlled substances were sized along side over $2,500 in cash.
