Many locations will not be opening their doors for Canada Day
WOODSTOCK - If you waited until today to gather up supplies for your Canada Day party a few extra stops may be needed as many businesses in Woodstock are not opening their doors today.
All grocery stores in the Friendly City are closed including banks, there won't be any mail as Canada Post employees have the day off, as well as all government offices.
Walmart is letting their employees enjoy Canada's 148th birthday by not opening all day today but will be back to regular hours tomorrow.
Last minute treats will be on display at Museum Square as the BIA presents a special Canada Day edition of the market from 10-2 with various vendors expected to be in attendance.
Both Shoppers Drug Marts are closed, however the 2 Rexall Pharmacy locations on Dundas St. and Springbank Ave. are open until 5pm.
All Tim Horton's locations are open while The Beer Store and LCBO are not open today.
Kids looking to get cooled off can enjoy the splash pad at the Southside Aquatic Centre as it is open to 6pm this evening.
All shops and stores will return to full capacity for the remainder of the week following the holiday that varies from year to year.
