Woodstock's New Parks and Rec Director

The City of Woodstock has hired its first Parks and Recreation Director. Brian Connors comes from a knowledgeable background having experience in a few municipalities including Burlington and Mississauga. He's looking forward to this new position. "I've been involved in both the parks side of operations and the recreation side. This is a job where I can do both. I think there's some really interesting crosses between them that I'm interested in exploring." Parks & Rec is a new department to the city. It formed out of the old Community Services Department that was divided up last year
