WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police are happy to report they did not find any impaired drivers during a RIDE program last night.
Officers stopped 150 vehicles and did not find a single infraction.
Police are warning motorists to be careful this long weekend. Officers will be working, patrolling the roads, looking for impaired drivers.
If you do plan to celebrate with drugs or alcohol, make sure to plan ahead and have a safe ride home. Special Constable Shaylyn Jackson says they're asking everyone to be safe this weekend.
"Police, other first responders and medical staff will be spending their thanksgiving weekend keeping the community safe and healthy. We ask that the members of our community do the same and celebrate the thanksgiving weekend safely by doing your part to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep our roads safe by not getting behind the wheel if impaired."
