As it stands there are 41,402 cases of COVID-19 in Ontario. No deaths were reported today and there are 37,595 cases resolved.
ONTARIO - 115 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Ontario.
41,402 cases remain in the province. 5,924 of the cases are reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes while 2,638 of them are reported to be healthcare workers associated with long-term care outbreaks.
No deaths were reported today so the provincial death toll remains at 2,797 and there are 37,595 cases resolved.
So far, 2,762,958 tests have been completed and 16,115 tests are currently under investigation.
There are 41 patients currently in hospital with COVID-19. However, approximately 40 hospitals didn't submit their data to the Daily Bed Census for August 21st. It is anticipated there may be an increase in hospitalized patients when reporting compliance increases.
11 patients are currently in ICU and six of them are currently in ICU on a ventilator.
