A fire at Westmount Motel in Southwest Oxford caused 12 people to be evacuated
The cause is unknown of a fire that broke out Christmas Eve at the Westmount Motel in Southwest Oxford.
A dozen people were evacuated from the motel at around 7:20pm by the Red Cross and taken to the Quality Inn.
Beachville Road was closed between Anderson and Dougall Streets for several hours as emergency crews from Beachville and Woodstock worked to put out the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
