BRANT COUNTY - The 18th annual Salute to Brant is happening at the end of this month.
The event gives people an opportunity to network and connect with like-minded individuals.
Strategic Initiatives Coordinator Heather Madden says the County is excited to host it again.
"Each year, the County is thrilled to welcome the local business community at this premiere networking event. Tickets are 75% sold. Please register soon if you want to attend."
This year's guest speaker is CEO at Aleafia Health, Geoff Benic. Aleafia Health brings Canadians medical cannabis care through nationwide clinics, cultivation and distribution facilities, and research.
In addition to a guest speaker, This year's business awards will be handed out across multiple categories, including Community Influencer and Agriculture.

Director of Economic Development and Tourism Russell Press says they expect to be a great event.

Other highlights during the evening will include sampling delicious food and drinks.
Food will be provided by Stillwaters Plate and Pour, Midtown Paris, Cobblestone Public House and Trattoria at Midtown. Local beer and cider will be provided by Howell Road Cider Co., Steel Wheel Brewery, Mash Paddle Brewing Co. and local wine will be provided by Bonnieheath Estate Lavender and Winery
The event sold out last year with over 250 local business owners and employees in attendance to network, celebrate success and enjoy an evening of festivities.
Salute to Brant takes place inside the Paris Fairgrounds on September 26th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
