Workplace Incident Under Investigation

An investigation is underway by the Ministry of Labour after a workplace incident in Ingersoll.

INGERSOLL - A workplace incident turned fatal in Ingersoll.

On September 10th, the Oxford OPP, along with Fire Services and EMS, were called to a business after a report of an incident. The Ministry of Labour was called, and two inspectors have since taken over the investigation. With the investigation ongoing, no further details are available at this time. 

Heart FM reached out to the Ministry of Labour for more information regarding the victim, and this is what they said.

"Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, the ministry cannot disclose information such as the individual’s name."

However, a GoFundMe campaign was started by Mandeep Singh, who claims to be the brother of the victim. Singh says his brother's name is Aman Dhull and money is being raised to send Dhull's body from Canada to India, so he can be laid to rest surrounded by his family and loved ones.
