Crews will get to work at the corner of Oxford Rd 9 and Oxford Rd 10 in Ingersoll, and the corner of Oxford Rd 2 and Oxford Rd 12 in Woodstock.
INGERSOLL - Construction at the intersection of Oxford Road 9 and Oxford Road 10 is expected to begin this week as the road reconstruction on Oxford Road 9 continues.
The intersection will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic, but east-west traffic will be closed. Drivers travelling east or west will need to use the additional detour along Ingersoll Street South, Thomas Street and Whiting Street.
Construction is part of the larger Oxford Road 9 reconstruction project, which includes sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer work, full road reconstruction, traffic signals and final asphalt treatments.
The overall project is expected to be completed in December 2026, weather permitting.

WOODSTOCK - In Woodstock, the intersection of Oxford Road 2 (Dundas Street) and Oxford Road 12 (Mill Street/Oxford Street) is also scheduled to close beginning this week.
The intersection will be completely closed for approximately four weeks, meaning there will be no access through the intersection.
Two detour routes will be available:
Main detour: Oxford Road 30, Oxford Road 17 and Oxford Road 59 (Vansittart Avenue)
Secondary detour: Oxford Road 9, Main Street and Oxford Road 59 (Wilson Street)
The closure is part of ongoing reconstruction of Dundas Street. Work began in April, with the overall project expected to be completed in November 2026.
Both projects are weather-dependent, and construction schedules may change based on site conditions, contractor availability and other factors.
Drivers are encouraged to plan and allow additional time when travelling through the affected areas.
