OPP investigating 5 break and enters in the County
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford OPP is currently investigating five break and enters that occurred overnight Tuesday throughout Oxford County.
At approximately 2:45 a.m., unknown suspects forced their way into the Creek Side Golf course on Highway 59 South in Norwich Township.
Entry was gained through the west side door of the clubhouse, and a variety of alcohol and food were removed worth an estimated value of $600.
Suspects also forced entry into the Ingersoll Family Restaurant and Phantom Hair Studio, both located on Thames Street South, Ingersoll.
Hair care product was stolen from the studio. The value of the items taken is unknown at this time.
Sometime between 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. that same night, entry was forced into the Serene Salon & Spa on Tillson Avenue, Tillsonburg.
Removed from the premises was approximately $40 in cash.
Also, suspects forced their way into a trailer on a construction site located on Curry Road in South-West Oxford Township.
Numerous tools and pieces of machinery were removed, valued at approximately $10,700.
Oxford County Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services are currently assisting with the ongoing investigations.
