WPS issue 500 tickets in school zones in the months of April and May
WOODSTOCK - It appears Woodstock residents aren't getting the message when it comes to traffic signals and signs in school zones.
According to the Woodstock Police Services, 500 tickets were issued in school zones during the months of April and May including 49 charges for using a hand held communication device, 57 charges related to school zones and more than 300 speeding charges.
Police are asking drivers to pay extra attention when driving especially as school is coming to a close and children will be out playing.
