For the sixth consecutive day, the Province is reporting under 100 cases. The total number of cases across Ontario now sits at 39,967 with one new death and 36,131 resolved cases.
ONTARIO - There are 70 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed today.
This now brings the provincial total to 39,967.The Province's report says 5,901 of the cases are reported to be from residents living in long term care homes.
There was just one new death reported today with 36,131 resolved cases. Ontario's death toll is now at 2,784 with 1,799 of them reported to be from residents living in long-term care homes and eight of them reported to be from workers in long-term care homes.
2,372,441 tests have been completed in total while 26,273 are still under investigation.
53 people are currently hospitalized with the virus, 27 of them are in ICU and 12 of them are in ICU on a ventilator.
