There are two performances scheduled for this Saturday.
INGERSOLL - The Ingersoll Choral Society is hosting a Christmas Concert.
It is called Christmas Bells and will take place on Saturday at Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church. Music Director, Holly Langohr explains what you will hear during the performance.
"Well, at this concert, our title is Very Fitting Christmas Bells. We have special guest performers, the Thamesford Handbell Choir. So, you'll be hearing them perform a few songs on their own, as well as a few songs with the choir. So, that'll be the choir singing and the handbells doing the complete accompaniment."
Longohr says the audience will hear many traditional carols, along with some less heard of songs or newer arrangements. She mentions where you can go to purchase your tickets, which cost $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
"If you want to purchase tickets online, you can go to TicketScene and do that as well. You can also, if you're in Ingersoll, you can stop off at Petina's, or if you're in Woodstock, you can stop off at Long and McQuade, and they sell our tickets as well."
Langohr says every choir member has tickets as well. There will be two shows on Saturday, the first starts at 2:00 p.m. and the second show begins at 7:00 p.m. If you want to hear more about the show, you can listen to the full Heart FM Morning Show interview with Holly Longohr below:
